The new museum is really shaping up and on scheduled to be opened this December. I can't wait! The Miami New Times recently got a tour of the building and have a great article with loads of new information found hereAlso I received an invitation to a talk next Friday (20th); Event Description -In conjunction with DWNTWN Art Days, Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM)
Director Thomas Collins and former Director Terence Riley will discuss
the unique aspects of the new museum’s architecture. Scheduled to open
in downtown Miami's Museum Park this December, the new PAMM was designed
by internationally-acclaimed architects Herzog & de Meuron in
response to Miami's unique environment, and as a model for progressive,
and sustainable, museum design.Seating is limited (first come, first seated)
